FIRST ROUND OF SA PORRASSA SWIMMING RACE

More than 150 people gathered this Saturday on the beach of Magaluf to participate in the first edition of the Vuelta a Sa Porrassa a Nado (Swimming Lap around Sa Porrassa). The event, organized by Mar de Fondo with the collaboration of several organizations involved in marine conservation, consisted of a 2 km swim around the island of Sa Porrassa. This non-competitive sporting event has helped to eliminate the negative image of Magaluf and to highlight the value of the marine and natural environment of this area, sadly famous for its uncivil and drunken tourism.
