IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS WITHOUT THE CRIB TIN

It has become a tradition during the festive season for divers from different units of the Balearic Islands, the Navy, the Army, the Air Force and the State Security Forces and Corps to dive into the waters of the islands to set up their bidon-belén. Just like last year, the location chosen by the Es Fortí Military Sports Centre to hold its traditional dive with the bidon-belén was the beach of Illetas.

Taking advantage of the installation of this drum-bell, which lasts only a few minutes at the bottom of the sea, the participants and divers, after removing it from the water and returning it to the surface, made a second dive to clean the seabed and collect the waste they found.

After fulfilling their Christmas and environmental duty, the participants in this traditional activity shared good times and congratulated each other over a delicious barbecue.
