Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita celebrated the “Nit de la Vela,” a gala honoring sporting achievements, held for the first time this year to recognize the efforts of the club’s sailors.
Over 250 people, including authorities, club staff, sailors, awardees, family, and friends, participated in this inaugural edition of the Nit de la Vela, where the accomplishments of sailors in both the cruiser and dinghy classes were acknowledged.
The “Nit de la Vela” also highlighted the career of Nacho Baltasar, chosen by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV) to represent Spain in the current Paris Olympic Games. Additionally, Neus Ballester was recognized for her international titles in the 470 class, Javier Hernández for an excellent 2023 as he retires from competition, Ramón Villalonga for his achievements and for being a team work model within the club's IQ Foil team, and Lluís Pérez for his competitiveness and spirit of improvement.
