X Championship of the Balearic Islands of Open Water Swimming

The Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (CNR) hosted this Sunday, for the second consecutive time, the Balearic Open Water Swimming Championship (Granados Aumacellas Trophy), which this year celebrated its tenth edition.

Organized in collaboration with the Ajuntament de Campos and the Balearic Swimming Federation, the event was attended by 337 swimmers of different nationalities and ages, who competed, scoring for the national ranking, in the following categories and distances: Benjamin (500 m), Alevín (1,500 m), Infantil/Junior/Absoluto (3,000 m) and Masters (1,500 and 3,000 m). In addition to the official competition for federated athletes, popular events were also held for amateur swimmers.
