The Local Police of Sant Antoni de Portmany has reported an individual for setting up an unauthorized tent in the ses Variades area to conduct business by charging for services during the sunset.

The individual admitted that he did not have any permit and that his goal was to start a business.
The posted signage indicated that the supposed company offered a luxury picnic with various services such as gourmet catering, private waiter, transportation, and photoshoot, as well as providing a phone number and a website for reservations, which detailed a price of 349 euros for four hours.
The officers proceeded to issue a sanction for violating the municipal coexistence ordinance by conducting unauthorized activities and providing services in public space. Additionally, the individual was in breach of law 7/2013 regarding the legal regime for installation, access, and exercise of activities in the Balearic Islands.
