A man installs an illegal crane in Cala Egos to lower his semi-rigid boat into the sea

The Civil Guard is investigating a man of Nordic origin for the illegal installation of a crane, concreting the rocks, on the coast of Cala Egos, in Santanyí.

The aforementioned crane, which was anchored to a concrete platform about two square meters in size built on the ground, was being used to lower a semi-rigid boat with a motor into the sea.

As a result of the investigations, the person responsible for this installation was located, who subsequently proceeded to remove the installation. After recording an infringement of the Coastal Law, it was sent to the Ministry of the Sea and Water Cycle (Directorate General of Coasts and Shoreline).

This intervention is part of the actions being carried out by the Fiscal Units of the Balearic Islands to protect the use of the Maritime-Terrestrial Public Domain and ensure the safety of the Coasts of the Balearic Islands.
