A skeleton of a dolphin has been found nearby the waters of Sa Ràpita

A group of monitors of the Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita found a dead dolphin floating in the waters close by the club this midday.

The youngsters got in contact fast with the team in Palma Aquarium and have moved the animal of three meters long, which was in an advanced state of decomposition, to the facilities of the club, where the technicians of Palma Aquarium were examining the cetacean to find out about the causes of its death. 

This would be the second dolphin dead found in our sea in less than three days. This past Sunday in the afternoon, the team of Palma Aquarium had to attend to a warning of two swimmers that found a dead bottlenose dolphin in an advanced state of decomposition at Playas de Muro.
