This Saturday, the Club Nàutic Portitxol (CNP) hosted a new and important recreational fishing meeting, demonstrating once again its firm commitment to this activity. It is the Open Club Nàutic Portitxol - Embarcació a Duos, which has had about thirty participants.

The start was at six o'clock in the morning, and the fishing area was from Cap Blanc to Cala Figuera. The participants enjoyed fishing at anchor from eight in the morning until one o'clock in the afternoon, arriving at the club half an hour later to weigh in the catches, which took place at two o'clock in the afternoon.
This was followed by a brotherhood meal at three o'clock in the afternoon, during which the participants enjoyed a seafood fideuá and were able to comment on the day and share anecdotes and experiences in an atmosphere of brotherhood and camaraderie. This was followed by the presentation of medals and gifts for the participants.
With this event, the CNP's 2024 fishing calendar continues. Throughout the year, in addition to the monthly ‘trobadas’, social gatherings for fishing enthusiasts with the aim of facilitating communion between lovers of this sport, and some regional level competition, the club will host the Spanish Championships of Anchored Boats by Teams and Coastal Trolling in autumn.
