The 20 competitors from the Balearic archipelago come from the following clubs: Real Club Náutico de Palma, Club Nàutic s'Estanyol, Club Nàutic Cala Gamba, and Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita.

The Equalité Alicante was born in 2024 as a regatta prelude to the Spanish Championship of the Optimist class, which was held just a year ago in the waters of Alicante, and was created with the intention of continuing the young sailors of this class to keep competing at a high level.
There is a large participation from the Valencian Community as well as sailors from Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, and the Region of Murcia.
Among the registered names stand out local sailor Alejandro Valero (RCR Alicante), winner of the Nations Cup with Spain, during the Palamós International Optimist Trophy 2025, and Izan Rogel (RCN Torrevieja), winner of the Euromarina Trophy in the sub13 category. In the female category, among others, Alexandra Youji Wang Liu stands out, who has held leading positions in various regattas of the Optimist Excellence Cup also in the sub13 category.
A total of 9 races are scheduled, and with more than 80 registrants, the fleet will be divided into two groups, with a qualifying series and a final phase. The races are scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM on Friday, March 14, while on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16, they will start at 12 PM.
As for parallel activities, on Saturday afternoon, starting at 7 PM, a visit to The Ocean Race facilities at the Port of Alicante is organized for participants and companions of the Equalité, which will include a tour of the Museum, access to Race Control, and the Open 70 Brasil 1, a boat that participated in the 2005-2006 round-the-world race.
