AGENDA April 17–27: Offshore regattas take center stage this weekend

To help you make the most of what the Mediterranean has to offer this week, we share with you the most notable activities taking place.

This Easter, the islands have prepared a wide variety of activities, from the iconic Ruta de la Sal to the Optimist Clinic course. Regattas, trophies, swimming, and much more await you in this new edition of the “Passion for the Sea” agenda.

MALLORCA

Description: The club celebrates the 21st edition of this prestigious Mediterranean event, accompanied by a program of social activities and events such as the La Larga regatta.

• CLINIC OPTIMIST // (April 18 to 22) – Organized by: CNA and CNR (+ info)
   

Description: Both clubs hold the fourth edition of the Optimist Clinic, an initiative encouraging young people between 8 and 12 years old to step out of their comfort zone and switch coaches for a few days.

Description: Marivent Yachts hosts a brunch party with live music and yachts on display at Port Adriano.

MENORCA

Description: Cruising boats will participate in the seventh edition of this iconic regatta, which runs from Menorca to Mallorca.

IBIZA

Description: Over 100 boats will compete in the 37th edition of the famous offshore regatta, starting from the Real Club Náutico de Dénia and from Port Ginesta.

Description: The club organizes the fourth race of its league for cruising boats.

Description: Cruising boats will compete in the 36th edition of the Estrella de Levante Trophy in Ibiza waters.

• OPEN WATER WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP // (April 24 to 27) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Santa Eulàlia (+ info)
   

Description: More than 1,000 swimmers will compete in this open water swimming event, which is a qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
