AGENDA from February 14 to 23: Menorca becomes the epicenter of Balearic canoeing

To help you make the most of what the Mediterranean has to offer this week, here are the most notable activities taking place.

The island of Menorca, particularly Mahón, will be the focal point of Balearic nautical activity over the coming weekends with several competitions, including the Balearic and Mallorca Canoeing Championships, the Snipe Class Winter Series, and various regattas for cruising boats.

MALLORCA

Description: Cruising boats will compete in this regatta sponsored by Marina S’Algar.

• TROFEO NOLI // (February 15) – Organized by: Real Club Náutico de Palma

Description: ORC-class boats will compete in this regatta honoring shipbuilder Pedro Cardona.

• TROBADA DE PESCA BALIZADA // (February 15) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal
   

Description: A new fishing event for club members.

• TROFEO C.N. PORTO CRISTO // (February 15-16) – Organized by: Club Nàutic de Porto Cristo
   

Description: Optimist and Optimist D sailors will compete in the club’s regatta.

• CICLO DE CONFERENCIAS SOBRE ANTONIO MAURA // (February 19) – Organized by: RLNE Balearic Delegation
   

Description: The APB hosts the first session of a conference series commemorating the centenary of Antonio Maura’s passing, founder of the RLNE.

• DRAGON WINTER SERIES // (February 21-23) – Organized by: Puerto Portals
   

Description: Puerto Portals hosts the fourth race of the VIII Dragon Winter Series.

Description: The club hosts a new edition of the Pro-Rigging Trophy for classes Optimist, Optimist D, ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7, 420, Snipe, and OK Dinghy.
