AGENDA from January 24 to 31: Fishing, boards, and many cruiser regattas

To make the most of what the Mediterranean offers us this week, we present the most outstanding activities to be carried out.

The Máster Ciutat de Palma de pesca submarina and the Baleares Championship of Techno 293 and IQFoil star in the week's agenda, gathering about 300 athletes in the Islands.

MALLORCA

• XXII MÁSTER CIUTAT DE PALMA // (January 24) – Organized by: Balearic Federation of Underwater Activities (+ info) 

Description: The Real Club Náutico de Palma and the Club Náutico de Portitxol will be the venues for the different tests.

• V CMAS WOMEN’S CUP // (January 24) – Organized by: Balearic Federation of Underwater Activities (+ info) 

Description: The Máster Ciutat de Palma week includes an individual spearfishing competition for the female category.

• II CMAS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP // (January 25) – Organized by: Balearic Federation of Underwater Activities (+ info) 

Description: Nearly 200 spearfishing athletes will demonstrate their skills in the depths of the bay of Palma.

• SABATINAS // (January 25) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info) 

Description: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita kicks off its social regatta calendar with the first cruiser race of the year.

• DRAGON WINTER SERIES // (January 24-26) – Organized by: Puerto Portals (+ info) 

Description: Puerto Portals hosts the third and penultimate test of the VIII Dragon Winter Series.

• BALEARIC CHAMPIONSHIP IQFOIL AND TECHNO // (January 24-26) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info) 

Description: About 70 racers from Techo 293 and IQFoil classes from various island clubs will sail in the bay of Palma.

• XXXI TROFEU HIVERN - FAN MALLORCA SHOPPING // (January 26) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Cala Gamba (+ info) 

Description: More than a dozen Latin sail boats will participate in the first test of the XXXI Trofeu Hivern.

• PRESENTATION OF GRANTS AND SUBSIDIES // (January 29) – Organized by: Balearic Marine Cluster (+ info) 

Description: The entity organizes a day to present the 2025 grants and subsidies for the Balearic nautical sector.

• CRUISER DINNER // (January 31) – Organized by: Club Nàutic S’Arenal (+ info) 

Description: The club organizes its traditional dinner to reward and recognize the successes of its cruisers during the 2024 season.

MENORCA

• LLIGA BOSCH & LOZANO CREUERS ORC // (January 26) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Ciutadella (+ info) 

Description: Club Nàutic Ciutadella also starts its cruiser boat league with the first test of the year.

• SA LLIGA HIVERN // (January 26) – Organized by: Club Marítimo Mahón (+ info) 

Description: About a dozen cruiser boats will participate in the first test of the year of the club league.

IBIZA

• XERRADES ESSENCIALS // (January 24) – Organized by: Es Nàutic (+ info) 

Description: Conference presented by the archaeologist Marcus Heinrich Hermanns, analyzing the situation of Ibizan archaeological heritage.

• SOCIAL CRUISER LEAGUE // (January 25) – Organized by: Es Nàutic (+ info) 

Description: The social regatta calendar kicks off with the first coastal test for cruiser boats.

• TROBADES VELA CLÁSICA // (January 25) – Organized by: Es Nàutic (+ info) 

Description: The classics will also compete in their first regatta of the season in Sant Antoni de Portmany.
