AGENDA from January 31 to February 12: Cruisers, the big protagonists of the weekend

To make the most of what the Mediterranean offers this week, here are the most notable activities taking place.

The celebration of the first solo racing calendar tests marks the start of February. A month that will serve as prior training for the major competitions of the year and in which there will be a lot of fishing, sailing, and canoeing.

MALLORCA

Description: The club organizes its traditional dinner to award and recognize the successes of its cruisers during the 2024 season.

• TOLLERIC TROPHY // (February 1) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (+ info) 

Description: Sailors will face the first test of the club's Solo Circuit

• CIRCUIT A2 // (February 1) – Organized by: Reial Club Nàutic del Port de Pollença (+ info) 

Description: The cruisers of Port de Pollença will embark on a demanding race sailing in A2.

• GALERÍA MAIOR TROPHY // (February 1) – Organized by: Reial Club Nàutic del Port de Pollença (+ info) 

Description: A dozen cruising and Flying Fifteen class vessels will sail in the Bay of Pollença.

• PATRON SAINT FESTIVITIES // (February 1-2) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Santa Eulàlia (+ info) 

Description: Sailors from the Optimist, Optimist D, Ilca 4, and Ilca 6 classes will participate in this club regatta to celebrate the patron saint festivities of Santa Eulàlia.

Description: New fishing outing for the fishermen of Sa Ràpita.

Description: Fishing enthusiasts have an appointment in Arenal with the second test of the club's fishing calendar.

Description: More than a dozen cruising vessels will sail in the Bay of Palma in the second test of the club's calendar.

MENORCA

• J2 WINDSURF LEAGUE // (February 1) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Fornells (+ info) 

Description: Sailors from the Bic Techno 293, Raceboard, and Open IQFoil classes will compete in a new test of the club's league.

• BALEARIC SEA KAYAK CUP // (February 8) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Ciutadella (+ info) 

Description: The Club hosts the 2nd sea kayak competition for paddlers from different clubs on the islands.

• SA LLIGA HIVERN 2 // (February 8) – Organized by: Club Marítimo Mahón (+ info) 

Description: The Club organizes the 2nd test of Sa Lliga Hivern for cruising vessels.

IBIZA

• 100 YEARS TROPHY // (February 8-9) – Organized by: Club Náutico Ibiza (+ info) 

Description: The club commemorates its centenary with a very special regatta for the cruiser class.
