AGENDA from March 21 to 27: Spring fills the clubs and ports of the islands with activities

To make the most of what the Mediterranean offers us this week, we present the most notable activities that will take place.

The likely poor weather conditions will mark the competitions this weekend. Both nautical clubs, federations, and athletes are very attentive to the final weather report, and some events, such as the Balearic Cup for Young Promises of Ibiza, have already been postponed.

MALLORCA

• VIII MEDITERRANEAN CUP // (from March 20 to 23) – Organized by: Puerto Portals (+ info) 

Description: Nearly 20 vessels from the Dragon Class will compete in the eighth edition of the Mediterranean Cup.

• PINK ROCKET SCHOOL FINALS // (from March 21 to 23) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s'Estanyol (+ info) 

Description: The technical clothing brand Pink Rocket sponsors the final test of the league for school-age Optimists.

• SAIL4FUN // (March 22) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s’Arenal (+ info) 

Description: The club hosts this type of league for B-ONE team vessels for the first time.

• XII CHAMPIONSHIP CLUB COMOPECES // (March 22) – Organized by: Balearic Federation of Underwater Activities (+ info) 

Description: The Federation organizes the 12th edition of the charity underwater fishing championship in tribute to Enrique Haro, departing from Caló de sa Barca Trencada, Cala Egos, or Cala Serena.

• LLIGA HIVERN // (March 22) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Colònia de Sant Pere (+ info) 

Description: The club hosts the fifth test of the league for cruiser vessels.

• SPRING FESTIVAL // (March 22) – Organized by: Port Adriano (+ info) 

Description: Port Adriano celebrates the arrival of spring with workshops, activities, performances, and much more at its festival.

• III CRUISER SAIL MEETING // (March 22) – Organized by: Club Nàutic s'Estanyol (+ info) 

Description: For the third year, the club organizes this meeting of cruiser vessels with the collaboration of Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita.

• RCNP SERIES // (from March 22 to 23) – Organized by: Real Club Náutico de Palma (+ info) 

Description: Nearly 40 boats from the OK Dinghy and Snipe classes will compete in the BMComposite Trophy.

• XVII GALA DEL MAR // (March 27) – Organized by: AENIB (+ info) 

Description: The association celebrates the 17th edition of its gala at the Port Centre, the institutional headquarters of the Balearic Port Authority, to recognize the efforts of entities and companies that have shown a significant commitment to Balearic nautics.

MENORCA

Description: The club hosts the last test of the league for cruiser vessels.

• BOSCH Y LOZANO TROPHY // (March 23) – Organized by: Club Nàutic Ciutadella (+ info) 

Description: Fifth regatta of the cruiser ORC and ORC social league.

IBIZA

• ‘ON THE BEACH’ // (March 21) – Organized by: Es Nàutic (+ info) 

Description: The club hosts the ‘On The Beach’ painting exhibition by Carlos Genicio.

• 1st BALEARIC CUP YOUNG PROMISES (POSTPONED) // (March 22) – Organized by: Balearic Canoeing Federation (+ info) 

Description: The first canoeing test of the Balearic championship for young promises is postponed due to poor weather forecasts.

• ES NÀUTIC RESTAURANT TROPHY // (from March 22 to 23) – Organized by: Es Nàutic (+ info) 

Description: Es Nàutic Restaurant sponsors the competition for sailors in the Optimist and ILCA classes, which will take place in the bay of Portmany.
