The Club Nàutic Portitxol (CNP) says goodbye to the summer by redoubling its firm commitment to recreational fishing. This past weekend was celebrated the Trobada de Pesca de Fluixa and the XVI Championship of the Balearic Islands of Curricán Costero in the modality of capture and release modality, organized by the Balearic Federation of Fishing and Casting.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!During the 15th and 26th of September, more than thirty fishermen were onboard seven boats who were gathered at the club to participate in this activity, which was celebrated with a magnificent atmosphere of camaraderie among all participants.
On Saturday morning from six o’clock, they were gathered at the bar of the club to have breakfast and then sail at seven in the morning, to return at six o’clock in the afternoon. It was an excellent fishing journey, thanks to the state of the sea and the great weather conditions that the Bay of Palma had.
At night, from nine o’clock, the award ceremony was celebrated, accompanied by a delicious dinner served by the Restaurant of the Club Nàutic Portitxol. Both the Federation and participants congratulated the club for a spectacular organization of the event, and everybody showed their satisfaction with the way the day developed.
The winner vessel of the XVI Balearic Championship of the Curricán Costero was the ‘Ai Bixo’, sponsored by José Alós Crespí. Followed by ‘Marvel’, of Enrique Martínez Victoria, and the third position for ‘Camí Primera’, of Miguel Ángel Franco.
