ANEN awarded by the Spanish Maritime Cluster for its promotion of nautical training

The Spanish Maritime Cluster (CME) held its annual awards ceremony yesterday, attended by Jordi Carrasco, CEO of ANEN and Carlos Sanlorenzo, director of institutional relations of the association.

In its 2023 edition, ANEN has received the CME Award in the Training category, in recognition of the "Impulse to Blue Training and Education" for its support to the development of Vocational Nautical Training and for its collaboration in the creation of the "Blue Education" Association, whose objective is to promote maritime vocations and the world of the sea among young people.

In its 2023 edition, ANEN has received the GCE Award in the Training category, in recognition of the «Impulso a la Formación y Educación Azul» for its support to the development of Vocational Training in Nautical and for its collaboration in the creation of the "Blue Education" Association, whose objective is to promote maritime vocations and the world of the sea among young people.

As a result of the activity carried out by ANEN, in the field of Vocational Training, with the Ministry of Education and the Autonomous Communities - especially in the Balearic Islands, Catalonia and the Valencian Community - intermediate vocational training cycles in Nautical Studies are already being offered in these territories, and work is being done to extend this training to higher levels.

The award granted by the CME to the Association also recognises the collaboration of ANEN with the Spanish Maritime Institute in the development of courses in the field of Nautical Charter, Management of nautical-port facilities and Nautical Broker, in which more than three hundred students have already graduated.
