It is worth mentioning that the purpose of the call is to support the island's athletes in improving their training resources and access to competitions during the year 2025.
The results to be presented must have been achieved in competitions held between January 1 and December 31, 2024.
This call considers outstanding results at the World level (Olympic and Paralympic Games, world championships and cups, Special Olympics summer or winter World Games, etc.), European level (European Championship, COI European Games, European ranking, etc.), International level (qualifiers for the Olympics), National level (Spanish Championship or Spanish Cup, Spanish Championship by Autonomous Communities, etc.).
In last year's call, applications were submitted by 421 athletes, of which 322 received aid. Among the athletes who received the most aid in the last call are Joan Reinoso and Isabel de la Cruz -Paralympic sports-, Marcus Cooper, Paula Barceló, Nicolás Mir, or Nuria Bosch. The process to request this aid starts on Friday, March 27, and ends on April 29, 2025.
