At the XX Mostra de la Llampuga will be served almost 2.000 kilos of fresh fish

Cala Rajada is already prepared to host their twentieth edition at the Mostra de la Llampuga this Sunday, 15th of October. A gastronomical fair that the 22 participating exhibitors will serve a total of 1,700 kilos of ‘llampuga’, transformed into delicious, traditional and innovative dishes.

The Mostra de la Llampuga was launched twenty years ago with the goal to boost the fishing sector, commerce and gastronomy in the area. During these two decades, this gastronomic fair has grown to become an event that attracts both locals and visitors from all over the island every year, turning Cala Rajada into the epicenter of Mallorcan seafood cuisine.

This edition will be launched this friday, 13th of October, with the already traditional Noche de Tapas en el muelle, in which different restaurants of the area will participate and also where the competition XIII Concurso Culinario de Tapas will be held. On Saturday, 14th of October, the attendees will enjoy a delicious fish paella and the Verbena Marinera to the rhythm of  Oscar Romero and the group Valnou.

On Sunday, 15th of October, the XX Mostra de la Llampuga will be open to the public from 12h until 16h to offer a great variety of food where the fish is fresh, and especially the ‘llampuga’, will be the big protagonists. This gastronomic fair will resume its activity from 18h to 22h so that visitors can continue tasting the dishes cooked by the participants especially for the occasion.
