Of these 120 athletes, 20 are Balearic sailors from the Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença, Real Club Náutico de Palma, Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa, Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, Club Nàutic S'Arenal, Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx, Club Marítimo Mahón and Club Nàutic Cala Gamba.

The Olympic team also participates, which arrives in Gran Canaria shortly after having won the country's place for the Olympic Games in Paris at the World Championship in Argentina, and still without deciding who will be its starter. The Andalusian Ana Moncada, architect of the classification of Spain, who spoke at the press conference with his teammates and the national coach, Jano Toro, predicted "a very competitive regatta", which will serve the national team, he added, "to finish polishing details".

The national coach informed that the Athens European Championship and the Princess Sofia Trophy (Palma) are the regattas that will serve to decide which sailor will represent Spain in the ILCA 6 competition in Paris 2024.
