Balearic Marine Cluster will take a key step in its internationalization strategy with its participation in the Palm Beach International Boat Show, to be held from March 19 to 23 in Florida. This represents a historic milestone for the Balearic nautical sector, as, for the first time, the Balearic Islands will be promoted jointly at an institutional level at an event of this magnitude.
STAY UP TO DATE OF WHAT WE DO AND RECEIVE OUR NEWSLETTERThe presence at this fair, one of the most relevant in the American nautical market, will allow the Balearic Marine Cluster to position the Balearics as a reference destination for the superyacht sector and strengthen ties with key international stakeholders.
Pedro Suasi, manager of the Balearic Marine Cluster, highlighted the importance of this action: “For the Balearic Marine Cluster, this is a historic milestone, as for the first time the Balearic Islands as a whole will be promoted institutionally as a nautical destination. We know that the promotional powers are delegated to the Consells, and at BMC we deeply respect and collaborate with them. However, yacht users do not conceive of Mallorca without Ibiza and Formentera, nor Menorca without Mallorca. Our goal is to work with all the Consells to promote the wonders of each island to this highly valued segment of customers.”
During the fair, Balearic Marine Cluster will organize various strategic meetings with industry companies, brokers, and superyacht owners, in addition to a specific event coordinated together with the AETIB and Essentially Mallorca, Ibiza Luxury Destination, and Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, where the potential of the Balearics as a nautical hub in the Mediterranean will be showcased.
This action is part of the cluster's strategy to reinforce the international presence of the Balearic nautical sector, with the aim of attracting investment, fostering the arrival of large lengths, and promoting the excellence of the local nautical industry.
