In this way, the cluster completes part of its participation in the Palm Beach International Boat Show, one of the most significant nautical meetings on the international calendar, held from March 19 to 23 in Florida and which has become the second commercial mission that BMC carries out outside Europe.
During the presentation, Pedro Suasi, the manager of the cluster, offered international attendees a strategic vision of the Balearic Islands as a leading destination in the Mediterranean for superyachts and large vessels. The intervention, conducted at an exclusive event together with AETIB, Essentially Mallorca, Ibiza Luxury Destination, and Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, sparked great interest among the attendees, many of whom expressed their intention to explore future collaborations and participate in the upcoming Balearic Superyacht Forum.
“Our presence in Palm Beach has not only served to strengthen strategic relationships with key players in the American nautical sector but also to continue positioning the Balearic Islands as a hub of excellence for large yachts,” stated Pedro Suasi.
“I especially thank the AETIB team and the Tourism Office in Florida for organizing this type of event, which is fundamental for the nautical sector. The American market is a key market for us, and being able to promote our islands jointly is a wonderful opportunity that we must continue to take advantage of,” he added.
During the fair, Balearic Marine Cluster held meetings with companies in the sector, brokers, and superyacht owners, in line with its strategy to attract international investment, encourage the arrival of large vessels, and promote the excellence of the local nautical industry.
This action is part of the cluster's plan to strengthen the global presence of the Balearic nautical industry, generating business opportunities and international visibility for its more than 100 associated companies.
The interest shown by international stakeholders in the upcoming Balearic Superyacht Forum, which will take place in April in Palma, confirms that this event is becoming a strategic meeting point for the sector. The cluster continues working to make this second edition an essential gathering for the global nautical industry.
