In this space, various initiatives will be carried out to further promote companies in the marine industry in the archipelago and various meetings, lectures and presentations will be held.

13:00 hs Vermouth / Aperitif
Thus, on Friday the 26th, at noon, the AENIB/ANEN stand will host the presentation of the Teconaut Project, an initiative in which Jordi Carrasco and Christian Esteva, together with the support of prominent partners, will seek to promote the use of disruptive technologies to facilitate the ecological transition of the nautical sector. Specifically, the aim is to forge a new generation of skilled workers connected to medium-sized shipbuilding companies or start-ups that are implementing sustainable solutions in order to improve sustainability in the shipbuilding sector. More information about the project can be found on the website https://teconaut.eu/es/.
Afterwards, still at the stand of the nautical employers, there will be a discussion / round table with invited representatives of the Centre de la Mar, nautical training school of the Employment Service of the Balearic Islands (SOIB) and Integrated Vocational Training Centre (CIFP) in the area of Nautical. It is the National Reference Centre for Vocational Training in the Nautical area, integrated in the Network of National Reference Centres for Vocational Training, and offers formal training in maintenance and repair of sports and recreational boats, as well as different training formulas for work: dual training, Certificates of Professionalism and training specialities.
Finally, at one o'clock in the afternoon, a vermouth will be offered as an aperitif in which the AENIB stand will acquire a more relaxed and playful tone.
On the other hand, at the AENIB stand, those professionals and companies who wish to do so will have a space at their disposal within the boat show to hold their meetings. And the associated exhibiting companies will be able to collect in this space a distinctive seal of quality that will accredit the exhibiting associates for their collaboration as employers, thus strengthening the image of unity in the sector.
Also, during the weekend, the stand will have tables, paintings and stencils related to the nautical sector so that the little ones can entertain themselves while the older ones make the most of the fair. There will also be a photocall where children will be able to portray themselves as nautical professionals, putting their faces on figures such as captains, mechanics and nautical carpenters.
The PIBS is one of the main events of the nautical industry at international level and every year brings together thousands of professionals from the global sector, being the perfect showcase for Balearic nautical companies to show the high quality of their services, their products and their professionalism. With its participation, AENIB shows once again its support for the fair as a fundamental meeting point for the Balearic marine industry, one of the main pillars of the economy of the Islands. Also, in addition to companies and professionals in the sector, it encourages the public to come to the show and discover all that the nautical sector has to offer the Balearic Islands, being one of the main economic engines of the islands.
