Despite the setback in registrations, the Balearic nautical market continues to lead at the national level. Regarding the charter market, the Balearics experienced a decrease of 23.28%, registering 445 registrations of boats intended for rental, compared to 580 the previous year. Despite this drop, the Islands continue to be the epicenter of the rental market in Spain, capturing 27.17% of national registrations for charter, ahead of Barcelona, with 11.78%, and Girona, which stands at 8.73% .
