Bilbao is ready to welcome the national nautical community to the ANEN Nautical Congress

For two days Bilbao becomes the epicentre of the national nautical industry hosting the 11th edition of the Nautical Congress organised by the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), and of course, the Passion for the Sea team has already set up at the Euskalduna Palace to inform the nautical community of all the latest news in the industry.

Under the slogan "Managing the present, building the future in recreational boating", this Thursday, 7th of March, and Friday, 8th of March, hundreds of professionals from the national nautical sector will discuss the current and future situation of the industry. 

In this reference event of the recreational boating business community, some key points will be discussed to build the direction of the industry at national level, such as sustainability, training, the role of women in the sector and the legislation of recreational boating, its challenges and developments. Attendees will learn about the progress of the Recreational Boating Codification Commission and its next steps. This working group, which was announced during last year's congress, was born from the collaboration and joint work between ANEN and the Directorate General of the Merchant Navy, and is made up of several renowned members of the industry, who have been working to propose legislative reforms that may favor recreational and sport boating.

In addition, the fifty or so professionals from the sector who will attend the congress once again this year will be able to take advantage of this event to generate synergies and network during the conference breaks, in the exhibition area, where collaborators, sponsors and media partners, including our firm Nautimedia, will have their information stands, and at the Sector Cocktail that will be held this Thursday night at the Bilbao society.
