On Saturday, February 22, the indoor freediving tournament was held in Porreres, featuring static apnea (STA), dynamic apnea without fins (DNF), and dynamic apnea with fins (DYN), with 27 competing athletes and a good level of performances that suggests a more competitive level at the Autonomous Championships to be held in Sa Pobla, on March 29.

In the men's static apnea event, Nicolai Gebhardt won with a time of 6’17”, followed by Christian Dieckmann in second place with 6’04”, and Roberto Clemente 6 in third place with 6’02”. In the women's category, July Constanza Melo Tavera finished first with a time of 5’08”, followed by Elisabet Gost with 3’28” and M. Antònia Binimelis in third with 3’03”.
In the men's dynamic apnea without fins event, Matjew Bucscek took first place with a distance of 135’90 m, followed by Alfred Molina with 114’30 m and Nicolai Gebhardt in third with 100 m. In the women's category, Elena Fuster Font won with a distance of 125 m, Viktória Koptasikova was second with 90’80 m, and Elisabet Gost third with 75 m.
In the dynamic apnea with fins event, Matheus Bucscek was the champion in the men's category with a distance of 174’50 m, followed by Juan A. Jiménez Servera with 160’90 m and Christian Dieckman in third with 150 m. In the women's category, Viktória Koptasikova won with a distance of 110’80 m, followed by Elisabet Gost with 100 m, tied with Elena Fuster Font, who finished third.
It is worth noting the participation of athletes from Menorca and the Valencian community, who are expected at future competitions. The event also highlighted the multicultural nature of the sport, with diverse participants and nationalities including Austria, Germany, Colombia, Argentina, Poland, and Italy.
