The Calvià council, together with various entities and groups from the municipality, has launched several initiatives to raise funds and cooperate with those affected by the DANA that has severely hit the Mediterranean coast, especially the Valencian Community. The activities allow the collection of cash and essential materials by the Calvià community, always committed to social causes and humanitarian support.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The pioneers have been the Center for Adult Education (CEPA) of Calvià with the organization of a charity bun sale that managed to raise 1,385 euros to help the victims of the DANA. In addition to the collection, medical supplies have been gathered, such as 100 liters of hydroalcoholic gel, 2,400 FFP2 masks, and 1,850 surgical masks.
All these resources have been delivered to the Falla El Toro - Casa de València in Calvià, which will ensure they reach the affected areas. Additionally, this entity, in collaboration with the Ajuntament de Calvià, has organized a charity paella next Sunday, December 1st, in Plaza Europa de El Toro. Ticket sales points are the Elena and Katy hair salons, Jaime's Butchery, Spar supermarket, and Mesón Cal Pulga, in El Toro; Anyva Butchery and Alfabia Natura Integral Landscaping, in Santa Ponça; and the pharmacies of Margalida Comas, in Son Ferrer, and Belén Gómez, in Es Figueral (Marratxi).
The municipality has also wanted to contribute to the cause through its cultural offerings. Various events at the Auditorium of Peguera will donate all their proceeds to help the victims of the DANA:
• The Mòpia jazz concert on November 23, where Josep Oliver Rubio and Jaume Rosselló, combine their talents to create a show that blends two styles.
• The Zarzuela Gala on December 6, with Capella Mallorquina, directed by José María Moreno, Alicia Moreno on piano, and participation from Escola de Dansa de Calvià. • The concert "Si Bastasen un Par de Canciones" on December 14, which will pay tribute to artists such as Sergio Dalma, Miguel Bosé, Eros Ramazzotti, and Alejandro Sanz.
• The tribute to Los Javaloyas and company, on January 11, in honor of the leader of the legendary band Los Javaloyas, with the participation of former colleagues and the SimfoVents formation.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Music Band of Calvià will perform on December 22 at the Sa Societat Theater and will donate all the proceeds to two musical associations in Valencia.
