The Andratx Town Hall has put out a tender for 48,000 euros to purchase two new watchtowers, one for Camp de Mar beach and another for Sant Elm beach, with the aim of improving safety and the quality of lifeguard services for residents and visitors during the beach season.

This new project marks a further step in one of the most critical axes of the legislature, public safety. By improving facilities, an optimal lifeguard service can be guaranteed on the municipality's beaches. Interested companies can submit their applications until March 11th.
The environmental councilor, Antoni Nicolau, highlighted that "from the environmental area, we work to provide optimal service on our beaches, which is why it is essential to get everything ready before the season starts, improving our facilities and infrastructure so that lifeguards can work in the best conditions."
The mayor emphasized that "the main goal of the government team is to ensure public safety. With the installation of the new watchtowers, we reinforce our commitment to the residents, ensuring a better service for users, providing safe and quality beaches."
