The Minister of Education and Universities, Antoni Vera, along with the Territorial Director of Education in Menorca, Alexandra Marquès, visited the Centre del Mar in Mahón and announced the center will host the vocational training program in Navigation.

During the tour of the facilities, Minister Vera explained that the expansion of the Centre del Mar will become a reality in the next Infrastructure Plan to implement the Navigation studies. Vera was accompanied by the center's director, Joan Laureà Florecido, and during the visit, they traveled to Isla Plana and Isla del Rey, where they met with José María Cardona Natta, the first director of the Centre del Mar.
Minister Vera made this visit after having toured CEIP Maria Lluïsa Serra and CEIP Antoni Joan Alemany in Mahón. Subsequently, he visited the Sant Climent Escoleta in Sant Climent, the Mahón School of Arts, and the UIB extension in Menorca. With this, all visits to public and charter schools on the island of Menorca have concluded, during which the demands and needs that will be reflected in the new Infrastructure Plan were collected.
