On June 10th, children aged 3, 4, and 5 from CEIP Bocchoris visited the port of Pollença. Accompanied by their teachers and PortsIB staff, they enjoyed a tour of the facilities, learning about fish and fishing, marine pollution, water protection, as well as the different types of boats and the various tasks carried out in the ports.

In recent weeks, several educational centers have participated in these visits to ports managed by PortsIB. Schools such as CEIP s'Algar (Portocolom) and CEIP Joan Veny i Clar (Colònia de Sant Jordi) have visited PortsIB's facilities.
These educational activities, which have been carried out for years, are adapted to the curricular needs of the children and cover topics such as fishing, nutrition, pollution, as well as the daily work in ports and types of boats. The aim is to educate young children about the importance of marine conservation and the functioning of ports.
PortsIB continues its commitment to educate and raise awareness about the importance of ports and the environment to new generations, promoting activities that combine learning and fun.
