YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The director of Club de Mar-Mallorca, José Luis Arrom, states that “the collaboration with Palma International Boat Show arose at the request of several shipyards during the last Monaco Yacht Show who demand more space for larger vessels. I believe we have reached a good agreement that will not alter the tranquility of the members and users of Club de Mar Mallorca.”
On land, an exhibition area will be set up with companies offering services and equipment for these types of yachts, such as repair and maintenance industries, naval engineering, naval construction and interior design, etc.
The Minister of Business, Employment and Energy, Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, presented the new expansion this week at FITUR, attended by the President of the Balearic Government, Margalida Prohens; the Vice President and Minister of Economy, Finance and Innovation, Antoni Costa; the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Jaume Bauzá; the General Director of Economy, Catalina Barceló; the manager of ADR Balears, Silvia Delgado; and the director of Club de Mar-Mallorca, José Luis Arrom.
As outlined during the official presentation in Madrid, the goal is to consolidate this space for future editions. In this regard, it is anticipated that in three years the exhibition area located at Club de Mar-Mallorca can accommodate more than twenty megayachts at sea and about forty land exhibitors.
The next edition of PIBS, the fair that inaugurates the Mediterranean nautical season, will take place from April 30 to May 3.
