Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita launches Wind Trobades on July 11

For years, Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita (CNR) has been committed to windsurfing and windfoiling, among other nautical disciplines. This summer, they are taking an additional step to further promote these activities in the waters near the club and bring together all the enthusiasts of this sport.

Specifically, they have organized 8 weekly meetings called “Wind Trobades” that will be held between July and August, with a strong social focus, featuring windsurfing and windfoiling as the main attractions. The “Wind Trobades” will take place from Thursday, July 11, to August 29, every Thursday starting at four in the afternoon, and will consist of slalom courses for all interested participants, whether club members or supporters who enjoy this sport.

These gatherings will take place at Sa Ràpita beach, next to the CNR, an area that offers the best conditions for accessing the sea and practicing these disciplines, in one of the best settings with crystal-clear waters and strong thermal winds typical of the area during the summer season.

"Although there will be an overall ranking and a trophy presentation at the end of the summer, we want to emphasize the social aspect of these gatherings," says Miki Bover, CNR’s sports director. "After the sports activity, we will encourage participants to enjoy some beers and drinks at the club facilities to discuss the day, share experiences, and strengthen bonds around this nautical activity," he adds.

This activity is part of CNR's strong commitment to windsurfing and windfoiling, which is reflected in various initiatives throughout the year. This summer, CNR’s Summer School offers courses in this discipline for children and adults in both morning and afternoon sessions. Additionally, for adults, the club offers private lessons with schedules to be determined between the instructor and the student, through a system of private training vouchers that can be purchased at CNR offices.
