ClubSwan is the one-design racing division manufactured by the prestigious Finnish shipyard Nautor's Swan. It joined the Copa del Rey MAPFRE in 2017 with the ClubSwan 42 class and the world racing debut of the ClubSwan 50. Both return this year to make up a fleet of 17 teams of five nationalities. Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Great Britain and Monaco will be represented by ClubSwan monotypes on the pontoons of the Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP).

The 41st Copa del Rey MAPFRE is part of the Swan One Design 2023 and The Nations League 2023 circuits.

Pablo Garriga's "Tenaz" will be the only Spanish flagged team among a fleet that will also include four German boats, two Italians and one Monegasque. There will be no shortage of the best squads of recent years, including Marcus Brennecke's "Hatari" (2022 champion), Hendrik Brandis' "Earlybird" (2021, 2018 and 2017 champion) or Leonardo Ferragamo's "Cuordileone" (2019 champion). Also noteworthy is the presence of Andrea Laconte's "Vitamina", current class leader in The Nations League 2023.

The ClubSwan 50 was presented during the 2016 Copa del Rey MAPFRE and joined the fleet in 2017. Her 15.25-meter hull is distinguished by a peculiar inverted bow topped by a boom, and on deck she raises a mast nearly 20 meters high. She usually competes with a crew of 12 sailors.

Three teams will make up the Spanish representation in ClubSwan 42 class: the "Nadir" of Pedro Comas (champion 2022), the "Pez de Abril" of José María Meseguer (champion 2017 and 2018) and the "Porrón X" of Luis Senís. Three Italian boats, one British and one French boat will also compete. "Nadir" leads the provisional of The Nations League 2023 circuit.

The ClubSwan 42 is a 42.6-foot boat (13 meters) introduced in 2006 to be sailed by eminently amateur crews. A regular in the ORC fleets sailing in corrected time, since 2017 she has formed her own class in the Bay of Palma for racing in real time.

The two ClubSwan One Design classes will race a maximum of 12 windward/leeward races between Monday, July 31 and Saturday, August 5.
