Olympic diploma holder from Paris 2024, Dominik Buksak, and his new crew member Adam Glogowski dominated the championship, sealing their victory with a triumph.

The Polish team did not start well on the final day, as they were penalized with 12 points for an early start (false start). However, they discarded their worst result and recovered in the following three races: they won the second race of the day and finished second in the third, securing the gold in Lanzarote. Nevertheless, they did not ease up and crossed the finish line in first place. Their compatriots, Tytus Butowski and Borys Podumis, took the silver, while the American team of Andrew Mollerus and Trevor Bornarth completed the first podium of the Lanzarote International Regatta with the bronze.

Just one step away from the podium were Club Nàutic S’Arenal sailor Conrad Konitzer and his teammate from RCN Torrevieja, Antonio Torrado, finishing fourth overall and becoming the best Spanish crew among the three competing in Lanzarote. In fact, the last day of the regatta was their best: they won the first race, finished second in the second, and placed fourth and seventh in the following two.

Club Nàutic S’Arenal sailor Conrad Konitzer stated, "Overall, we are happy, especially with the goals we had set for ourselves. We have also seen many things that we need to tighten up and improve on, so this regatta has been very beneficial for us." He added, "For this year, we would like to be pushing harder in the gold fleet since standing out in the 49er class is not easy, and making it into that group is a great boost."

Antonio Torrado acknowledged that they still have a lot to improve but emphasized, "We are very happy with all the work we have put in this winter, and it's great to see it paying off on the water as we move forward with the rest of the season. We have felt really good and have been able to perform well on the water. Now we have a short break, and then we will head to Palma, where we will begin preparations for the Trofeo Princesa Sofía."
