Borrás, a double world champion in the master category, European and Spanish champion, achieved victory in the mixed modality alongside Carmen Mateo Pumariega. They also triumphed in the master category in an event where only two out of six scheduled races could be completed due to lack of wind. Additionally, other sailors from Club Marítimo de Mahón participated: Jordi Triay and Sara Franceschi, Fernando Rita and Julia Rita, who won the bronze medal in the master category, and Totto Hartmann, who sailed with Lise Gehrken.

Borrás concluded his two races on Saturday with two victories in a racing area that seemed to lose wind on Sunday. The Mahón expedition mentioned that the weather forecasts were not very positive and that they had to minimize risks to achieve the best results on Saturday, in case there would be no races on Sunday, as ultimately happened, preventing any discards. The lack of wind kept the fleet of 54 participants from even getting on the water on Sunday.

Borrás and Mateo secured two first-place finishes, ending with 2 points at the top. They were followed by Víctor Pérez and Lucía Guerrero from CMSAP with 7 points (3,4), and Jacobo García and Patricia Martín with 10 points (2,8). Jordi Triay and Sara Franceschi finished not far from the podium in fifth place with 13 points, after a poor first race (11,2). Just one position below were Fernando Rita and Julia Rita, father and daughter, who ended with 14 points (7,7), securing third place in the master category, while Totto Hartmann and Lise Gehrken finished 13th with 29 points (13,16).
