Es Nàutic brings forward registrations for International Windsurfer Ibiza Meeting due to high demand

The Sports Department of the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni (CNSA) has opened the registration period for the International Windsurfer Ibiza Meeting Spain Open Cup 2024, which will be held on the beach of s'Arenal under the organization of the CNSA, from the 3rd to the 5th of May.

Es Nàutic has taken the decision to bring forward the booking period due to the high demand from international sailors who requested it, with the aim of being able to book airline tickets in parallel in order to be able to travel to the island on the scheduled dates.

The race, which this year maintains the character of the Spanish Cup, is becoming an essential date on the international calendar. In fact, the main organizers of the Windsurfer class have proposed to the CNSA the possibility of the event also hosting the European Championship of this modality, a proposal that the CNSA is still evaluating. As in previous editions, the Ses Savines complex will serve as accommodation for the participants and as the main social meeting point.

In the last edition of this regatta, held in May 2023, 70 specialists from all over the world, mostly Italians, took part. The event is organized by the CNSA, in collaboration with the Sant Antoni Town Council and the International Windsurfer Class Association, and during the event the competitors combine the sporting competition with tourism, heritage and gastronomy.
