Es Nàutic extends the number of places for its summer courses

Due to high demand, Es Nàutic has decided to bring forward the registration deadline for the 2024 summer courses, aimed at children aged between 6 and 12.

Members of the organization will be able to register from today, 25th of March, and the general public will be able to do so from 1st of April.

The main novelty for this year is the increase in the number of places, which has increased by 24 per course, thanks to the enlargement of the team of monitors, reaching a total of 80 boys and girls. There are four modalities available for learning nautical sports activities: dinghy sailing, windsurfing and canoeing for schoolchildren aged between 8 and 12, and Jardín del Mar, for children aged 6 and 7.

It is also planned to include an educational section on sustainability in the marine environment, so that the participating children can access this knowledge. In addition, authorisation is awaited for the creation of an area for dinghy sailing and windsurfing off the coast of Ses Variades, which will operate in a similar way to the canoeing channel set up on the beach of S'Arenal.

The collaboration agreement with the Ibiza IN association will also continue, which will allow, for the fourth consecutive summer, the 'Estiu IN a Es Nàutic' programme, designed to facilitate access to the benefits offered by the sea and sailing to all children, regardless of their physical or intellectual conditions. This is an inclusive action that aims to guarantee equal opportunities for pupils with functional diversity.

The courses have a duration of two weeks and a total of five courses will be held. The first one will start on the 24th of June and the last one will end on the 30th of  August.
