Es Nàutic promotes the Ibiza Wing Foil Series nationally

The bay of Portmany will be the venue for the Ibiza Wing Foil Series, an event that the sports director of Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, Enrique Mas, has announced in Fuerteventura.

The sports director of Es Nàutic, Enrique Mas, has presented the Ibiza Wing Foil Series (WFSS) event in Fuerteventura, which will take place in the bay of Portmany between the 4th and 6th of October, with the participation of some of the best specialists in the country in this modality.

Enrique Mas has held meetings with various sailing personalities, including the executive director of Line Up, Manu Taub, one of the most powerful schools and activity centers in the country, in the town of Corralejo in Fuerteventura. The aim of these meetings is to promote the event, in order to attract the best athletes to the competition, some of them residents of the Canary Islands, as well as to establish collaboration links and understand how other sailing centers work. In addition to Wing Foil, Line Up specializes in disciplines such as Surf, Kite Surf, EFoil and Tow Surf.

Fuerteventura, for its part, is considered the best destination in the country for wind and water sports, even more so than Tarifa, as it is an island with different winds all year round. For fans of this sport, it is a mecca where they can enjoy their passion and find everything they need to practice it.

In the last edition, the Ibiza Wing Foil Series attracted a total of 45 specialists from all over the country. Unlike other places in Spain, where there are long, windy beaches from which to start the competition, in Sant Antoni the participants move around in a boat in search of the wind, placing the trials wherever the most favorable conditions are detected. The bay of Portmany is already one of the stops on the WFSS circuit.
