They attend every week to learn with the technicians of CNSA the development of sports such as paddle surfing, kayaking, and wing foil, among others.
DID YOU LIKE THIS CONTENT? WELL... YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!Since October and throughout this academic year 2024-2025, students from the intermediate vocational training cycle of guide in conducting activities in natural environments and leisure time, from IES Balàfia, attend every week at Club Nàutic Sant Antoni (CNSA) to train in sports such as paddle surfing, kayaking, and wing foil. The students come every Monday, from 8 to 14 hours, where the technician María Costa, who coordinates and teaches the activities, along with the teachers from IES Balàfia, Cristian and Bruno, awaits them.
The institute has invested in the purchase of equipment and the club provides facilities and inflatables to carry out the training. This is a direct action to promote this type of recreational sports activities among the island's teenagers, as they will become guides and possibly technicians of some of these disciplines in the future.
For CNSA, this is not the first educational experience of this nature with students from secondary education institutes, as students from IES Algarb have also recently attended, who have been trained in light sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking. Es Nàutic is always open to any opportunity to train students in the aquatic environment. They also receive environmental and sustainability training, led by the technician Marta Fernández, with the goal of acquiring more comprehensive and higher quality knowledge.
