Es Nàutic windsurfer Oren del Álamo remains at the head of IWIM 2024

During the second day of competition of the International Windsurfer Ibiza Meeting Spanish Cup 2024, which is being held for the third consecutive year in the bay of Portmany, four races were held, complying with the planned programme.

The Es Nàutic windsurfer, Oren del Álamo, continues to lead the ranking table in the Yellow category. The other group, the Blue, which is established according to the weight of the participants, is headed by Eric Belot, who on the opening day also ranked first.

The second day of competition, as it happened on Friday, has passed with a magnificent atmosphere, among the more than 80 participants from seven countries and 8 autonomous communities that have presented themselves to the event. The event is organized by the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, the International Windsurfer Class Association and the Balearic Sailing Federation.

Today, Sunday the 5th of May, the last day, the races will take place between 11am and 3pm, and the prize-giving ceremony will be at 5pm, at the Hotel-Apartamentos Ses Savines. The competition is accompanied by an intense programme of activities and some of the participants even extend their stay on the island for a week.
