The Club Nàutic Sant Antoni (CNSA) has been proclaimed winner by clubs in the Balearic Islands Speed Championship for Young Promises, after two intense days of competition that have taken place this weekend in the Esperanza Lake, in Alcudia.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!In total, Es Nàutic has won 18 medals (6 gold, 7 beach and 5 bronze), thus achieving a new sporting feat for the club that has come to the event with a representation of 38 paddlers (18 Cadets, 6 Children, 11 Alevines and 3 Benjamines).
Thanks to the effort and good performances of all the members of the displaced quarry, this important triumph has been achieved by teams. After the two days of tests, Es Nàutic harvested 1,625 points, followed by the Real Club Náutico de Palma (1,546) and the Club Marítimo de Mahón (1,251), in a very close competition until the last moment, which gives much more value to the points contributed by each of the CNSA paddlers. It is worth mentioning the brilliant championship made by the cadet boys and girls, who copied some podiums in that category.
The gold medals obtained were for Noel López (Cadet A K-1), Valentina Rodríguez (Cadet B Woman K-1), Raúl Prendes-Noel López (Cadet K-2 Man), Carla Marí-Candela Madrigal (Infant Woman K-2), Zoe Álvarez (Prebenjamín Woman K-1) and Lara Ribas-Laura Rubio (Alevín Woman K-2).
Silver medals were won by Raúl Prendes (Cadet A Men K-1), Yam Kikozashvili (Cadet A Women K-1), María Gallego (Cadet B Women K-1), Ilhan Velasco-Álvaro Rubio (Cadet K-2 Men), Valentina Rodríguez-María Gallego (Cadet K-2 Women), Lara Ribas (Alevín A Women K-1) and Júlia Roselló (Alevín B Women K-1).
The bronzes were won by Ilhan Velasco (Men Cadet A K-1), Facundo González (Men Cadet B K-1), Toni Llorens (Men Infantil A K-1), Toni Llorens-Hugo Hawkins (Men Infantil K-2) and Julen Velasco (Men Benjamín B K-1).
This event has served to CNSA technicians to finish deciding the team that will go to the Spanish Championship Sprint Young Promises Cadet and Children, to be held in the Trasona reservoir (Asturias), in two weeks.
