Europe's Best Yacht of the Year Chosen at Club de Mar-Mallorca

This week, sailing trials were conducted in the Bay of Palma, where the jury of the European Yacht of the Year 2025 (EYOTY) award, consisting of representatives from 12 nautical magazines from different European countries, evaluated the finalist boats.

The jury carried out tests on the 16 sailing yachts nominated for this award, considered the "Oscar" of the boating world, in the waters of the Bay of Palma.

The selection process began in June with a preselection of the best boats. The candidates from Northern Europe were tested by the jury in Kiel (Germany), while those from the Mediterranean were evaluated in Mallorca.

After these tests, the jury thoroughly analyzed the features and data collected from each boat before issuing their verdict. The winners will be announced at a gala at the Boot Düsseldorf boat show in January 2025.
