As every year, the Club Nàutic S'Arenal (CNA) kicks off 2024 with its traditional Sailing Night, a gala event to recognise all those people related to the club with an outstanding track record in the field of sailing over the past year.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The event celebrates the titles won, and is undoubtedly a tribute to the season of the sailors and cruisers of the CNA and vindicates the organizational capacity of the Sailing Section, as well as recognizing through various distinctions to individuals, partners, clubs and institutions for their support to the club.
The event will take place this Friday, 12th of January, from 20:30 h at the CNA Restaurant, which will offer a dinner to all those attending after a short talk by the heads of the Club's Sailing Section: Joan Sabater, head of the Sailing Team; Álex Duran, head of Regatta Organisation, and Fátima Reyes, head of the Sailing School.
More than 200 people will attend the event, including all the club's sailors, both from the dinghy racing team and the cruising sailors. Also present will be the club's collaborators and workers in the field of regattas, as well as the members of the Board of Directors of the CNA. As guests from outside the club, the Mayoress of Llucmajor, Xisca Lascolas, and the Councillor for Sports, Simó Adrover, have confirmed their attendance.
"It is a very internal event. It is a party to bring us all together, to strengthen ties, to make a group and to applaud those who have done the best throughout the year and inspire us all to improve," explains Ferran Muniesa, manager of the CNA.
The winners will receive a diploma and a voucher to exchange for Marinepool sportswear. All the sailors who have made the podium in Spanish championships, as well as the Balearic champions and the top ten in World, European or international competitions will receive their recognition. There will also be a special award for the best coach of the year and three prizes that go beyond sporting criteria to recognise constancy, progression, companionship and academic performance. "With these awards, we want to emphasize that we not only value competition, but that it is also about training people and transmitting values," explains Muniesa.
