In addition to a large exhibition of nautical companies, which will display their products and services from 10 am until the fair closes, the Puerto de Andratx Sailing Club will open its doors to visitors, and will host on Saturday, November 9, at 12:30 pm, the conference "55 years of history between Andratx and the Sailing Club," where the great work the club does in bringing the sea to the Andritxola society and local nautical management will be highlighted.
In the fishing boat area, there will be a craft market, with traditional products such as ceramics, textiles, jewelry, and decorative items, handmade by local artisans.
La Lonja will be the area dedicated to the little ones, where every day from 12 pm to 1:30 pm and from 3 pm to 5 pm, they can enjoy different activities and participate in interactive games and educational workshops where they will learn about respect and care for the marine environment.
Sport will also be very present throughout the weekend with different outdoor activities, such as pilates, and other disciplines to promote a healthy lifestyle. In this way, the entire port infrastructure, as well as adjacent areas, will be utilized.
In addition, every day there will be excursions both with light sailing boats and kayaks so that attendees can firsthand experience different nautical sports.
The restaurants of the port will also join this event by offering attendees a marine gastronomic experience, with a special menu where fish, seafood, and traditional Mallorcan recipes will be the stars of the kitchen.
Tradition, marine culture, craftsmanship, sport, environmental awareness, gastronomy, and above all, nautical, are the foundations of this first Marine Fair, which will serve to strengthen the connection between society and its marine environment, as well as being a unique opportunity for the Port of Andratx to become a benchmark for nautical and cultural events.
