Fifty paddlers take part in the first canoeing school sport event in Ibiza

The beach of s'Arenal, in Ibiza, hosted last Saturday the first canoeing school sport competition, organized by the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni and the Balearic Canoeing Federation.

This is the first of four events in the school canoeing competition in Ibiza. The final classification will be determined after all of them, with the sum of the three best results of each participant.

The competition, which was attended by a total of 45 athletes, 32 from Club Nàutic Sant Antoni and 13 from Club Nàutic de Santa Eulalia, was held on a sunny day, with excellent conditions for a calm water competition. The distances were 1,000 metres for Benjamins, 2,000 for Alevines, 3,000 for Infants and 5,000 for Cadets. 

The winners in all categories were: Facundo González (CNSA) in Cadet A Men, María Gallego (CNSA) in Cadet A Women, Toni Llorens (CNSA) in Cadet B Men, Candela Madrigal (CNSA) in Cadet B Women, Fidel Griffiths (CNSE) in Infantil A Men, Anna Pelletey (CNSE) in Infantil A Women, Jordi Colomar (CNSE) in Infantil B Men, Lara Ribas (CNSA) in Female Infantil B, Felipe Aita (CNSE) in Male Alevín A, Julia Roselló (CNSA) in Female Alevín A, David Ramón (CNSA) in Male Alevín B, Alba Guerra (CNSE) in Female Alevín B, Atay Kikozashvili (CNSA) in Male Benjamín A, Lucia Amengual (CNSE) in Women's Benjamin A, Pau Griffiths (CNSE) in Men's Prebenjamín and Zoe Álvarez (CNSA) in Women's Prebenjamín.
