Moreover, 7 of them are part of the team that the Balearic Sailing Federation has entered in this competition, while the remaining 37 sailors are from the Club de Vela Port d'Andratx, Club Nàutic s'Arenal, Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa, Club Nàutic s'Estanyol, Real Club Náutico de Palma, and the Real Club Náutico del Puerto de Pollença.

The XVII Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja covers its first miles, following the official presentation yesterday, January 23, at the stand of Turismo Comunitat Valencia, with the presentation of the Torrevieja city council program as a city of sports tourism, under the slogan "Torrevieja se vive", in which the international sporting events that will take place in the city in 2025 were introduced.

The Children's Sailing regatta, organized by the RCN de Torrevieja and sponsored by Euromarina, will take place in just a week, officially with 432 sailors representing 29 countries.

Yesterday's launch on January 23 featured Eduardo Dolón, mayor of Torrevieja, accompanied by Rosario Martínez and Diana Box, councilors for Tourism and Sports respectively; Nuria Martí, Queen of Salt of Torrevieja; Carlos Torrado, president of the Sailing Federation of the Comunitat Valenciana; and Carlos Carmona, president of the RCN de Torrevieja, among other personalities.

Dolón, in his speech, showed his support for the development of this regatta which helps to deseasonalize tourism and puts Torrevieja, in this case, on the map across five continents due to its participation with nearly 30 countries represented.

The Club president, on the other hand, mentioned the logistics and infrastructure that the RCN de Torrevieja deploys for the development of the competition, security, tracking monitoring, and the care for the participants and the high level of the registered teams, pillars of the success of the Children's Sailing regatta.
