The club's representation was ensured by the presence of José Ramón Picó, president of the CNA, and Antonio Moreno, board member and head of the fishing section. They highlighted that "It was a special night where we celebrated not only last year's sporting successes but also the team spirit, passion for the sea, and camaraderie that define the section. Beyond the trophies, what matters is the dedication and effort invested in each fishing day, making this section a true example within the club."
In 2024, the CNA scheduled 13 competitions, which saw a more than 30% increase in participation compared to previous years. They also thanked the sponsorship companies, with José Ramón Picó noting, "Each of our competitions was made possible thanks to our sponsors. Their support has been key to our section’s success." Sponsors included Las sirenas, the Llucmajor Town Hall, Eurobalear de Transportes, Proa Group Llucmajor, Can Calicó, Torrenova Rent a Car, Bodegas La Granadina, Fiat Llucmajor, Mecanautica Asensio, and Las Palmeras.
Highlights of the evening included the awards ceremony for the "Memorial Pep Pomares" for the squid fishing competition held in November 2024, and the award for participation and perseverance, which went to Rafel Sastre, owner of the boat "Bia Ratat." Antonio Moreno described the winner as "an owner and enthusiast of a llaut who, despite not usually reaching the podiums, has never failed to participate and has demonstrated an example of struggle and perseverance."
The event also enjoyed institutional support, with the mayor of Llucmajor, Xisca Lascolas, and several council members from the Llucmajor Town Hall, such as María Inmaculada Pérez Blázquez, Antonio Cayuela, and Rafael Amengual, attending. This presence was a sign of the recognition and support given to sport fishing in the municipality.
