The Club de Vela Port d'Andratx achieved significant success at the 1st Spanish Sea Kayak Cup, held on March 1 and 2 at the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja, winning 5 gold medals and 2 bronze medals.

The competition, held in Torrevieja, Alicante, gathered 37 national teams and 405 of the best paddlers from Spain and the Balearic Islands, marking the beginning of a demanding season in the national sea kayak calendar.
Despite tough weather conditions, with heavy rain, northeast winds, and intense waves, the competition was able to proceed on Sunday on a shortened course within the harbor. The Balearic paddlers demonstrated their competitive level with determination.
Josep Joan Cifre was crowned champion in the Men's Under-23 SS1. Pep Alemany, gold in Boys Infant A SS1, repeated his victory in Boys Infant A SS2 alongside Eric Dosil. Alba Fernández triumphed in Girls Cadet A SS1. José Luis Seguí was champion in the Men's Veteran 55/64 K1 Traditional category.
Núria Ferrer won bronze in Girls Cadet B SS1. Arnau Alemany and Gabriel Sielva took bronze in Boys Infant B SS2.
Additionally, the paddlers from Club Nàutic Portitxol also finished within the top 10 of the best national clubs, earning two golds and three silvers. The coach and paddler of the club, Omar Calzón, reached the podium twice, becoming champion in SS1 master and in SS2 mixed master with his partner Pilar Melchor, who also claimed silver in SS1 master. Moreover, Theo Wolff and German de Abasolo also won silver in the SS2 youth category.
Meanwhile, Club Nàutic Sant Antoni was proclaimed champion by clubs on the Young Promises podium, obtaining a total of nine medals (4 golds, 2 silvers, and 3 bronzes).
Es Nàutic attended the competition with a total of six juvenile paddlers (Liam López, Lara Ribas, Gabriela Mendes, Laura Rubio, Odalis Posado, and Júlia Roselló) and two veterans (coach Albert Solé and José Luis González). In the Young Promises clubs ranking, CNSA achieved a total of 238 points, ahead of Club Marlines de Lanzarote (231 points) and Club de Vela Port d'Andratx (156 points).
Gold medals were awarded to Gabriela Mendes-Lara Ribas (SS2 Girls Infant A), Liam López-Júlia Roselló (SS2 Mixed Infant), Lara Ribas (SS1 Girls Infant A), and Júlia Roselló (SS1 Girls Infant B). Silver medals went to Laura Rubio-Odalis Posado (SS2 Girls Infant A) and Gabriela Mendes (SS1 Girls Infant A). Finally, the bronzes were won by Albert Solé-José Luis González (SS2 Men Veteran), Liam López (SS1 Boys Infant A), and Laura Rubio (SS1 Girls Infant A).
