This effort culminated in the identification of a company engaged in chartering boats without complying with established regulations. The company in question was renting various boats that were not registered on the 6th list, a mandatory requirement for the commercial use of such vessels.
In addition to this serious violation, the operation revealed multiple additional infractions. Records were filed for several violations against the State Ports and Merchant Marine Law, including the lack of liability insurance, the absence of a responsible activity declaration, and the lack of authorization for boat rentals. Breaches of the General Tax Law 58/2003, Royal Decree 5/2000 on the social order of work, and the Coastal Law 22/1988 were also detected due to the unauthorized installation of a 10-meter-long floating dock.
These types of operations aim not only to penalize violators but also to protect users of nautical services, ensuring that boats meet all legal and safety requirements.
