Jordi Triay and Sara Franceschi triumph in the Snipe Autumn Cup

The sailors from the Club Marítimo de Mahón won the only two races held on Saturday, September 21, while Sunday’s races were canceled due to lack of wind.

Jordi Triay and Sara Franceschi took a champion’s first step in the Autumn Cup, part of the Artiem Snipe Circuit 2024-2025, which the Club Marítimo de Mahón kicked off last weekend. The event was affected by a lack of wind on Sunday, leading to the cancellation of the races after two heats were completed on Saturday.

Triay and Franceschi won both races held in this Autumn Cup, finishing at the top with 2 points, followed by Fernando Rita and Xema Ulldemolins with 4 points, and Marta Torner and Enrique Mir with 6.

A total of 18 boats participated in the competition, which will continue on Saturday, October 19, with the Winter Cup, the second event of the Artiem Snipe Circuit.
