Juanmi Llompart proclaims himself president of Club Nàutic Ciutadella

Juanmi Llompart becomes the new president of Club Nàutic Ciutadella after winning the elections with 73% of votes in favour.

Last Friday the Club Nàutic Ciutadella held the elections for the presidency of the club. These elections were attended by almost 50% of the club's members, who decided between the candidacies presented by Juanmi Llompart and that of Borja Moll, who is the new president of the club. 

According to Menorca.info, out of 809 members who had the right to vote, 382 made use of it. Supporting 73% (279 votes) the candidacy of Juanmi Llompart, and appointing him as the new president of Club Nàutic Ciutadella, replacing Gonçal Moll, who called the elections after several resignations of board members. 

Juanmi Llompart's programme includes the possibility of incorporating a gymnasium for the use of sportsmen and women and club members, strengthening the participation of members, updating the statutes in accordance with current legislation and strengthening the sports sections, among other points.

He is accompanied on the club's board of directors by vice-presidents Joan Josep Morro, Joan Manuel Sastre and Pilar Pons Faner; secretary, Jeroni Capella; treasurer Carmen Drake, and commodore, Laura Rodríguez. On the other hand, the memberships are held by Xavier Cardell and Jessica Masip for cruising; Damià Díaz and Ana Sancho for dinghy sailing, Pere Bagur and Ariadna Bagur for diving, and Pilar Cornejo and David Riera for canoeing. As for the fishing memberships, Estanislao Capó is in charge of recreational fishing and Jordi Bosch is in charge of underwater fishing. Three substitutes complete the team: Esteve Bagur, Sonia Pons and Conxi Gómez.
